My last Top Ten Tuesday post was a list of books with single-word titles – so it’s only fitting that our first post-hiatus TTT topic is super long book titles!
Two possible approaches to this prompt came to mind: there’s plenty of recent fiction with long titles thanks to the popular titling convention of the last few years (think A Court of Thorns and Roses, A Lady’s Guide to Etiquette and Murder, or any book that follows the blank of/to blank and blank format).
The other approach, which I chose, was nonfiction books with subtitles… which produced a list that pretty much sums up 2020: death! disaster! science! science denial! disease! but also how do I stay calm with my kids?

A great book so far and very relevant for current events. My library loan expired while I was halfway through, looking forward to finishing it in a few weeks when it comes off hold!
Subtitles definitely make for a mouthful, don’t they?

Yep. 2020 for sure.
All of the nonfiction I’ve read this year has leaned into the doom and gloom state of things while the fiction has largely been the opposite… It’s been an odd year, haha. Thanks for commenting! 🙂
